The Difference Between Offshoring and Outsourcing

Offshoring and outsourcing are often used interchangeably, but they are not the same.

Call centres have in general been less expensive due to the cost savings one can find in a different company based on labour and set up costs. A lot of smaller companies do not have the space for a 24/7 call centre or only need to add a few employees, and do not have the funds for the equipment.
