The Contact Center World Awards are the most prestigious awards in our industry. Following our initial shortlistings, GoReresponse were asked to provide a presentation to 130 call centre leaders of the EMEA region. What makes these awards more significant is that they are voted for by these industry representatives, so winning means we have been recognised by our peers as being the best in our marketplace.

We are proud of each award that we received, especially as competition was so fierce as we were up against the likes of Vodafone, Sony and Carlsberg. Winning the Best Small Call Centre award highlights that our telephone answering services bring something different to the table, and show that we offer our customers a much higher standard of service and care.

Winning the Best Call Centre Leadership award recognises the impact that Mark Kirby (our MD) has had both on our company, and on the industry in general. Considering that he started GoResponse nine years ago with four employees and we are now winning the best call centre award, we think it is well deserved!

Finally, getting a bronze medal in Call Centre Design was no mean feat either, especially considering that our 130-seat office was competing with businesses that custom built call centres to host 5,000+ seats.

We will now have the opportunity to compete for the overall best Call Centre in the World at Las Vegas later this year!


Swale Business of the Year Awards 2009

Winner of Best Business in Swale

The Swale business Awards are a prestigious event within the Swale area, celebrating expanding businesses, and rewarding them for their drive, determination and innovation. Competition was fierce with a great range of business making it into the final twelve nominees. A number of awards were up for grabs on the night; Innovation in Business Award, the Best Small Business Award and Swale Business Award 2009.

The evening started with presentations to celebrate local junor athletes, some of which are Olympic hopefuls, and continued into the night with a fantastic meal and pleanty of socializing. Each of the nominees were represented on the night by a selection of staff members, and all were anxious to hear who had won.

Walking away with the top award; ‘Swale Business 2009′ was Go Response Limited, a successful call handling business founded in 2003 by Mark Kirby, located on the Kent Science Park. The ”Innovation in Business Award’ went to Scipac Ltd. Scipac produce diagnostic reagents for the medical industry, and supply companies and hospitals all over the world. The Julie Gamble Skin care Centre, a men and woman’s skin care specialist located in Sittingbourne high street won the Best Small Business Award.


European Call Centre of the Year Awards 2009

Finalist of the Best Small Call Centre in Europe category

GoResponse were shortlisted to the final four for the Best Call Centre in Europe category. Out of the shortlisted businesses, GoResponse was the only outsourced call centre / telephone answering service provider that made it through to the finals in this category. The overall winner of the category was Britvic who have an excellent reputation within the call centre industry.


CCF European Call Centre Awards 2007

GoResponse added another huge accolade to their string of industry recognitions achieved during 2007.

Competing against dozens of other call centres in its class, GoResponse came an amazing Second, and were awarded ‘highly commended’ in the category of Best Small Call Centre (50 seats or less) in Europe 2007, sponsored by the Call Centre Focus magazine.

The achievement was announced at a huge Awards Gala evening at the NEC Metropole, attended by in excess of 1200 industry dignitaries.

GoResponse had been shortlisted to a group of six, with noble competition from in-house and outsourced call centre service providers, and came a very respectable runner up to the category winners – the Northern Counties Housing Association, who have a magnificent multi-million pound facility in Oldham.

This still resulted in GoResponse being the top outsourced call centre service provider in it’s category.

The shortlist on the night was –

  • Office Response Ltd, Bristol
  • SimplySwitch, Croydon
  • The Camping and Caravanning Club, Coventry
  • V2 Communications Ltd, Woking

The recognition was as a result of a 4 hour visit to each of the shortlisted centres by two judges who were leading experts in the call centre industry.

Perhaps the best compliment is the decision by one of the judges, Keith Gait of Orchid Consulting deciding to become a client of GoResponse (after judges final submissions had been completed for the category!). He also kindly informed us this was following a two year search for a perfect outsourced provider to work with!


Orange National Business Awards 2007

The National Business Awards, sponsored by Orange also dubbed as “UK’s business Oscars” by Chancellor Gordon Brown, recognised have also recognised GoResponse.

GoResponse achieved runner up in the AXA Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award 2007 for the South East Region.

The AXA Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award is open to organisations with less than £10 million turnover in their last financial year, this Award will go to the company that best demonstrates significant growth and innovation in its market sector, under-pinned by strong financial performance. This category is open to both public and private sector organisations.

Previous UK National winners include BigMouthMedia and Farmhouse Fare.

“It was a difficult decision selecting the finalists from the large number of excellent businesses in the region. They are all outstanding examples of the South East region’s most dynamic companies and we wish them all the best of luck in the regional final” said Graham Trueman of AXA.


World Contact Center Awards – EMEA Region – 2007

Along with the CCF European Call Centre awards and the Orange National Business awards, GoResponse also received recognition in the World Contact Center Awards for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The judging was an exacting process, with the finalists making their final presentations in July at a 2-day conference at the Radisson Edwardian International Plaza Hotel, Heathrow. The awards were presented in a glittering evening, culminating the whole conference.

On the evening, Cathy Rivett was recognised in the category of Best Call Centre Leaderwinning a silver medal, and the company was recognised with a bronze medal in the Best Customer Service category.
