Sport Relief Heard Loud and Clear |
Sport Relief has signed up 90
call centres
and over 8,000 volunteers to take calls for this year's event.
The Sport Relief fundraising activites will be starting this Friday and continue over the weekend, with various sponsored events taking place to raise money to improve the lives of people in both the UK and in some of the world's poorest countries.
Call centres
from around the UK took place last year and managed to process over £20 million worth of donations.
Card donation payment processing will be handled using IRV (Interactive Voice Response) technology supplied by Eckoh, which will also be used for the Comic Relief campaigns later on during the year.
