Johannesburg Mayor To Revamp Failing Call Centre |
Johannesburg Mayor Amos Masondo has responded to an influx of residents' complaints that he will personally see that the council's failing
call centre
will be revamped.
Residents have complained in their hundreds that they have been unable to get through to contact centre agents, or were just given a reference number instead of their enquiries being dealt with.
In his State of the City address, Mayor Masondo said:
"The
call centre
has not lived up to its potential. We are looking at revamping it and getting it to work much better."
It is our passion that call centres should be both an engaging place to work and a pleasure to use for clients. We work closely with clients to add innovation that makes the service quicker, easier and more intuitive for clients to use.
